In 2009, Medical Connections plans to acquire an established allied health travel company that would consist of many allied health travel professionals. Additionally, it will give the Company a large lead in the area of hiring allied health professionals for travel and contract-to permanent positions, affecting two very important streams of revenue. In 2009 to 2010, Medical Connections anticipates hiring more than 500 allied health professionals, and the acquisition of such a company will increase its candidate pool even more. Other areas considered for acquisitions include niche healthcare job boards that specialize in specific areas such as allied health, pharmacy, and radiology. The focus will be on job boards with a large client subscriber base, excellent web presence, and healthy traffic of candidates looking for healthcare positions and career advancement.
