On Call Central replaces the medical answering service with an automated, fixed priced system that reduces cost, eliminates errors & documents calls. On Call Central replaces the answering service in medical practices. After an initial setup, practices simply forward their phones to On Call Central after hours. Non-urgent calls are managed without contacting the physician. If a call is urgent, On Call Central detects the caller ID of the caller, then captures a message. The message is relayed immediately to the provider on call via phone, text message, or pager. Once the message is retrieved, the provider returns the call with the push of a single key on their phone. Since all calls flow through On Call Central, everything is recorded and permanently archived.
